Birth
The moment of birth is beyond doubt the most important moment in the lives of mother and child – and one of the most moving moments for the entire family. Just as nature has so perfectly designed the new born baby, we at Woman & Health have specialised ourselves to help you plan birth to utmost safety and comfort.
It is important for us to offer you an environment of security in which mother, father, midwife and doctors form a close team to welcome the new life. We care for your just according to your individual needs and wishes.
At first the gynaecologist monitors progress in pregnancy and the vitality of the unborn child. It is just as important to be extremely clear on the mother’s medical condition during this time as well. With the help of a midwife and if possible also the father’s aid, the mother learns about the different phases of birth and how to cope with them actively.
The doctor will also actively engage in the process in case danger arises for mother or child. It is therefore extremely important that the doctors and midwives at Woman & Health, mother and father become a familiar team.
Naturally your doctor will monitor you and your new born child for the next days in regular ward rounds until you are released from the hospital.
Weekend Seminar - Preparations for Birth
Pregnancy and birth of a child are among the most beautiful experiences in the life of a woman and in the course of a marriage or partnership respectively. Joyous anticipation and many so far unanswered questions come up in this phase of intense preparations.
In our seminar for preparations for birth you will find out many things worth knowing about and around birth. Also, we teach relaxation- and partner exercises, so you can tune in perfectly to the upcoming event.
