Pregnancy induced stretch marks
Stretch marks are ruptures in the upper layers of the skin which are induced by the extreme strain undergone during the last months of pregnancy due to weight fluctuations.
Treatment: Stretch marks are best treated during the inflammatory stage (red colouring). Intense pulsed light makes the blood vessels and thus the marks contract. Smaller stretch marks can be completely removed this way. If the marks have scarred (white colouring) the best treatment results can be obtained by the use of a fractional laser. The method of choice is best discussed with your doctor.
